What can you expect as an employee Competitive Compensation Exceptional Medical, Dental and Vision Options 401k and Match Voluntary Options for Disability and Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays What will you be doing Place shell eggs into carton/cases for distribution Assist with setup by collecting cases, flats, dividers and labels for finished product Properly label cases Ensure codes on product cartons are correct and legible Place finished product into case and slide case onto conveyer belt Maintain cleanliness of work station The duties of the Candler are rotated throughout the shift:
Remove eggs which are deemed inedible to a container Remove or redirect eggs which are suitable only for a breaking facility Remove or redirect eggs which need to be rewashed Participate in the daily cleaning & sanitation of the plant, machines and equipment Qualifications/Skills Weekend availability necessary Position requires ability to perform continuous, repetitive motions (bending, twisting, turning, squatting and reaching) Requires ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time Ability to lift/carry 10 lbs or less repeatedly with the lifting of 25 lbs occasionally Founded in Ohio in 1958 by Orland Bethel, Hillandale Farms started as a shell egg buying and selling operation.
